Beasts from a medieval bestiary, repainted as creatures of the screen — a monster is never just a monster, it is what a culture decides to be afraid of.
Mzungu means "one who wanders" — and, among the Bantu peoples, a person with white skin: a stranger among their own. The series follows one traveller's day through Africa, from the first drumbeat to the farewell, and reflects the moment of cultural fusion: African flavour seen through a European eye, with Fauvist colour and the fragmented composition of primitive painting.







Perun was the Slavic god of thunder and war. The triptych asks who took his place: the idol still stands, still demands, and the chaos around it is arranged by people who believe they are only obeying.

A lithopedion — a stone baby — is what happens when a fetus dies in the body, is too large to be reabsorbed, and calcifies: the body walls it off to protect itself from its own dead tissue.
