WHAT VR DRAWING IS

01 3D sketching Move your hand and the line appears in the air in front of you — a drawing you can walk around.

02 Sculpting with light Glowing, moving, shimmering brushes that exist in no art shop: fire, stars, liquid gold.

03 An infinite canvas The studio is as large as the idea. A butterfly the size of a thumb, or a dragon you can stand under.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

STEP 1 Master the gear Handling the headset and controllers until they stop being technology and become a pencil.

STEP 2 Space, form, character The academic part, done in the air: composition, proportion, volume — then your own 3D creatures, heroes, costumes.

STEP 3 A digital portfolio Photographing and filming your VR work — including mixed-reality videos — so the course ends with something to show.

WHO TEACHES

I am a practising painter with work in international exhibitions, and I have taught painting, drawing and composition privately for seven years — beginners, adults returning to art, children, and students preparing for art-school entry. VR is where that academic training meets spatial thinking: my own paintings carry AR layers, and I teach the same tools I work with.

QUESTIONS

Do I need my own headset? Ask me before you book — I will tell you exactly what is needed for the format you choose, online or in person.

What if my child has never drawn before? That is the usual starting point. The first sessions are play; the drawing fundamentals arrive through it, not before it.

Is it suitable for children? Write to me with your child’s age and I will tell you honestly whether the format suits them — that is also what the free trial session is for.

How does an online lesson work? We meet inside the same virtual studio: I see what you draw, draw beside you, and can correct a form in space rather than describe it.

Which apps do we use? I send the list of apps we will use before the first class, so nothing is a surprise.

Can the drawings be saved or printed? Yes: they can be exported as 3D objects, filmed as mixed-reality video, or rendered as stills for a portfolio.
