Series 2022: 8-1
Can Artificial Intelligence become friends with Humans in the future? Will that ideal world be able to come when all the flaws and limitations of the human body will be fully compensated by a soulless machine? Are we able to live in full harmony with HIM?
This series is about the interaction of Artificial Intelligence and Man. The conflict develops consistently: from the most full-blooded, life-filled sheet, there is gradually crowding out, the displacement of the spirit and human flesh by artificial intelligence. AI is much more powerful than our brain in computing and data processing tasks, but this is too narrow a spectrum to cope with complex issues on its own: it is not able to do without its teacher - Human.
I show how the graphic story unfolds about the displacement of Human by Artificial Intelligence. Through the presence of a very specific living form to its blurring or almost absence, from soft hand drawing to soulless machine structures, from the color sensation of pulsating blood to sterility and cold vacuum. By imprinting pictures of real neurons and drawing in their own way aesthetic, but not so complex fragments of layers of artificial neural network, the primitiveness of AI is shown in comparison with the richness and unknowable diversity of the human brain. There is a transformation from the living to the inanimate, from the complex to the simplest.
AI still has to go through a gigantic path of development, on which, perhaps, in the end we will see the very Garden of Eden on earth, filled with friendship and full-blooded cooperation.

8-1, Holy Trinity of AI
This is a prototype of the Human of flesh and blood and his Temple. The work is figurative, quite concrete, it is clearly seen here: the image of The Holy See with God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Spirit, and the centered composition gives a feeling of steadiness and firmness, the unshakability of the very existence of the world. Stone - one of the attributes of stability and strength - is used to the full in the depiction of the lifelike. Part of the artificial neural network layer coexists comfortably in this environment, only slightly intruding into our lives.

8-1, footprint in the sand of machine learning
From the second sheet, the "Journey of the Square" of artificial intelligence begins - it grows, trying to take up as much space as possible. Human and his humanity dissolve in it, turning into just a silhouette reminder of the origin, but the Human Temple still occupies an important role in this story.

8-1, Venus birth in topological neuro-networks
Human in the form of a stone statue, as ancient as this world, observes the "Birth of Venus" of the 21st century - the emergence of pulsating AI energy from an absolute straight line. This is reminiscent of a phantasmagorical landscape - the setting sun somewhere on another planet, millions of kilometers from Earth.

8-1, Stonehead: twilight of intelligence
This sheet is the center of the whole series, a strong stone that holds the edges. The image of a Human dissolves, shatters into dust, in the chaos of the fight. This is a sandstorm that takes everyone and everything with it, it breaks persistent human forms to a state of nothingness.

8-1, Olimpus Has Fallen
From now on, the series seems to mirror itself: this work is the answer to sheet No. 3 - only now the image of the Man is ousted from the story, and all that remains of him is a small stone block that has reached its last point of development: further - only stagnation or complete absence.

8-1, Intelligence: from artificial to unnatural
This sheet corresponds to sheet No. 2, talking about the Temple of Human, which has turned into the Temple of Machine. Here, real images of brain neurons are compared - so complex and beautiful - with a soulless and somewhat primitive artificial neural network scheme - a single-layer data input.

8-1, inside the Brain
The last sheet completes the series by entering into dialogue with sheet #1. A beautiful neuron - something that has fallen away from the concept of "Human" - is measuredly floating through the emptiness of outer space, absolutely subordinate to mechanization and filled with the absence of a Soul. Where there was a full-blooded life, there was a cold and primitive calculation of the machine. Regret.
